ClosedSource writes "While congratulating the producers of Lost in a letter, George Lucas admitted that he made up the plot to Star Wars as he went along: "Congratulations on pulling off an amazing show. Don’t tell anyone but when ‘Star Wars’ first came out, I didn’t know where it was going either." The only thing that surprises me about this is that Lucas actually admitted it. I think he was already winging it while making the first film: "If you strike me down, I shall become more
