Here's a seemingly useless question. Should the Diet allow for an Empress Aiko?

"Prince Akishino has two daughters, now 12 and nine, and has not responded publicly to calls from the Imperial Household Agency to have more children." Hmm...

  • Notwithstanding a different local law, when a crown' fails to produce an heir, the crown can pass through the eldest married daughter to her husband.

    • I just thinks its funny that they restrict females from ruling. While it may take a while for a female to be elected in certain cultures, women have often ruled throughout history. Thus, I find the whole story ironic.
