Corporations seek to end all free speech on the internet and block all content but their own. They threaten to transform the internet into nothing more than enhanced TV. There will be no user interaction. Your voice will not be heard. The internet will be not a communications medium, but rather a marketing medium. When this change occurs the user will no longer be a willing participant of the internet- instead they will be a SUBJECT of it.
