+ - Blair targets 'career criminals' - in 7th grade

CTho9305 writes "The BBC has a story about doing more to handle "career criminals". While that sounds good, the scary part is buried in the middle of the article: "Children could also face checks to discover if they are at risk of turning into criminals, at important stages in their development — such as the move to secondary school." Aside from obvious ethical issues, this paragraph raises two very practical questions: how would these checks determine which children are at risk, and what would be done about those who are?"

Build a system that even a fool can use and only a fool will want to use it.
