GNU grub sucks. It can't boot drives over 2 TB because drives over 2 TB require a GPT partition table.

Hopefully the Democrats will take this to heart, and begin to consider what they really stand for. It is becoming obvious that they don't reach out to the average American.

We can look to history to show us brave men who have given their all for their country and their beliefs, dying on the battlefield of a thousand wars to defend freedom. From the depths of Valley Forge to the hills of Gettysburg to Iwo Jima, wars have been fought and men have died to give us the vote.
And today, we can preserve freedom in the world and support the fight for Democracy in the Middle East and an end to terrorism. All without risking our lives or firing a shot.

Well, I wrote a letter, and got a response:
Dear Mr. Dickson:
I have received and reviewed your letter dated October 13, 2004 concerning your observation of Enviromental License Plates, which contain the letters "FDUBYA", which you consider not appropriate for California license plates.
On occasion, the department approves a plate configuration because all meanings of the configuration are not known. The California Vehicle Code, Section 5105(a) states we must refuse any license plate configuration which carries connotations offensive to good taste and decency, or which may be misleading to some of our citizens. In this particular instance, because of your notification to our office, we are exercising our right to request the surrender of the license plates.
I hope you can appreciate how difficult it is to balance an individual's constitutional rights to free speech and expression while protecting the sensibilities of all segments of our population.
