amromousa writes "Appforge has been acquired by Oracle. Appforge provided a mobile platform allowing developers to target all of the major mobile platforms using .Net. Their technology relied on a proprietary virtual machine. The Appforge.com domain now points to Oracle's website. It is estimated that the Appforge VM is installed on some 2 million mobile devices, world wide. More information here."
