When I downloaded and installed the free media center add on, which is what he did, it says you need to keep and use the new key that they gave for use in the future. So the question is why didn't he. I think this really is just a case of someone for forgot that message.

The real question is what caused the activation screen to come up.

The Twighlight of Small In-House Data Centers 180

Posted by samzenpus

dcblogs writes "Virtualization, cloud services and software-as-a-service (SaaS) is making it much easier to shift IT infrastructure operations to service providers, and that is exactly what many users are doing. Of the new data center space being built in the U.S., service providers accounted for about 13% of it last year, but by 2017 they will be responsible for more than 30% of this new space, says IDC. 'We are definitely seeing a trend away from in-house data centers toward external data centers, external provisioning,' said Gartner analyst Jon Hardcastle. Among those planning for a transition is the University of Kentucky's CIO, who wants to reduce his data center footprint by half to two thirds. He expects in three to five years service provider pricing models 'will be very attractive to us and allow us to take most of our computing off of our data center.' IT managers says a big reason for the shift is IT pros don't want to work in data centers at small-to-mid size firms that can't offer them a career path. Hank Seader, managing principal of the Uptime Institute, said that it takes a 'certain set of legacy skills, a certain commitment to the less than glorious career fields to make data centers work, and it's hard to find people to do it.'"

Anyone know where I can send my grant proposal? I figure several million dollars will be needed so I can go around the testing this theory that people will be distracted by this HUD thing. I expect tests in age and a few conditions and settings and so forth will be necessary). I expect to end it with a conference in tropical a paradise where notes on this will be shared after my paper on this are sent and accepted by several peer review papers.

Alright it's not built by them. they bought it from Motorola. It's called a Motoactv and Google hasn't done anything with it yet. there has been no development on it since Google bought Motorola out and I hope that if this is true they start doing something with it.

I would defiantly buy another one once this one dies. I just, like everyone, would love more features and longer battery life.

Here is part of a post I've posted about it before.

It's a great device it's an MP3 player, exercise tracker that ties into a heart rate monitor or cadence sensor for biking, displays calories burned and number of steps taken in a day, It's got golf courses on it so you can see the distance stuff needed to play and keep your scores (I don't play golf), it has a GPS to show your route (wish it was more interactive on what you can do other than just see your you just ran) and the statistics that it keeps for your workouts. When tired into the website (it also has a android app) I can see exactly where I was on a map and show what my heart rate was, what song I was listening to at that moment, speed of my run, elevation of where I was. It tells time to. But it doesn't have an alarm clock also it doesn't vibrate, during workouts there is a coach that gives you information it's an electronic voice (a nice female sounding voice) , The device allows you to also race yourself with tones of if your running better or slower against your last workout. It's Bluetooth enabled so you can use Bluetooth headphones and also for notifications from the phone - weather, facebook, etc. Also has the ability to have a corded headphones if you want and you can then also use it as a radio. It's water resistant so a run in the rain is not a problem, wish it was water proof. Also it has to be charged every day. I really love it. I'm just said that once it dies I will not be able to get a replacement, although there are other ones that are out there that have gps and tie into online exercise communities they don't have an mp3 player built in. I do wish the battery lasted longer but when I'm not running I'm sitting at my computer so I let it charge then. https://motoactv.com/

It better have a way of telling me that it's on. A flashing light, a noise when it's taking a picture also not to mention the laws about recording sound. I know when I put a servalance camera in my front yard I was told by police that in my state I can not record sound without the permission of the people who would be videoed. Also we need to think of the kids. How can we be sure our kids are safe from acvdental looks in windows and such if they can do play back. I can just see the conversation "Oh I'm sorry your kid was in their bedroom changing when I walked by and was already videoing and acdentally caught them underssed. I only saw what I recorded in the play back once and then deleted it. yea yea I'll deleted it." or "Oh I forgot it was recording when I walked into the wrong dressing room. I'll deleted it, yea, yea I'll deleted it."

Also what about other places like museums where you can't take photos of the paintings and such, I guess they will be banned from use, but if they have perscription lenses I guess a refund to the patron will be given.

Anyways

Was the exchange rate wrong? What am I missing? If the document stated the price in US dollars and was clearly marked as being US dollars why would one care that they paid Canadian Dollars if the paper had the correct exchange rate and listed it in US dollars. Or is it that it did but didn't list the exchange rate at the time? Or is it that the document said the price was (example) $4,000,000 when it should have been C$4,000,000?

Can't they just lay claim like the Bering Sea Gold Miners (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2182427/) do? They use GPS coordinates to plot an area where the claim is. Or is it the meteors move from sector to sector so that is not possible? Also in other mining places like California you can make the claim but you also have to prove that you are doing something with it.
