What if somebody knows he is depressed, gets the apropiate care, and still don't want to spend years with the hope that maybe he could manage the depresion, and prefers to die?
Why is the responsability of a stranger to discourage a suicidal that dosnt ask for help to avoid the suicidal thoughts?

Imagine entropy follows an asintotic function in the state of the universe "before" inflation. You could go back in time infinitely and find an infinitesimal but non zero entropy, while finding finite entropy at the present. Something like S=f(t)=1/((t^2)+1). The same for the volume ocupied by the observable universe at present time.

Why only for terminal patients? As I understand, the article is about asisted suicide for everyone who asks for it. I can be a healthy, without mental disorders or depresion individual, and decide to end my life. Why cant I go to the doctor and ask for the pills, instead of the messy options?
