Steorn's Free Energy Technology Challenge

Arkham79 writes "Irish tech firm Steorn has issued a challenge to the world's scientists to examine and validate a new technology which they believe has "has a coefficient of performance greater than 100%". Apparently the technology was developed while the company was undertaking a "project to develop more efficient micro generators".
They have gone as far as placing an Advertisement in The Economist to hit as wide an audience with the validation challenge as possible.
