"In a statement released after the stock market close, Apple admits "will not be able to release Leopard at our Worldwide Developers Conference in early June as planned", blaming the need to move software engineering and QA resources over to the iPhone project, which it says is still on schedule to ship in "late June" as planned. Developers will still get their hands on Leopard at the WWDC but it will only be a "near final" version, not the finished product."

"For over 25 years, Apple (the computer company) and Apple (the Beatles record label) have been arguing over the right to use of the name. Today, the dispute is officially over, with the computer company taking control of the name, and licencing it back to the record company for them to use. The BBC report has some quotes from both sides, which seem to hint that the music of the Beatles which has never before been licenced for download sales may soon be available through iTunes."

"Sony have finally committed themselves to a European launch date for the PS3, after disappointing European fans by not having the promised worldwide simultanious launch, then missing the lucrative Christmas period. The BBC are reporting that the console will arrive on the 23rd of March. We'll only be getting the 60Gb version at first, and it will be priced at 599 Euros or 425 pounds in Britain. At today's exchange rates, that's a wallet-busting $835.99!"
