First of all, I've set up a poll for this on Mister Poll. but please read this JE before voting. Also note that unlike slashdot, I think Mister Poll supports comments indefinately.

This November, unless something happens between now and then that really pisses me off, I will be voting for John Kerry. It will be the first time I have voted Democrat for the office of POTUS, and I am not happy with that.

I do not like John Kerry in the least, but the situation with George W Bush is getting despirate. So I'm overlooking that John Kerry is a scumbag politician of the worst kind, that he voted in favor of the current Iraq war, and that he voted for the "USA PATRIOT Act."

And I'm not the only one that is going to vote for him primarily in opposition to GWB. It seems as if the current administration could not be doing any worse if they were trying. I've got a bad feeling that maybe that is because they actually are trying. Maybe they are being deliberately incompetent just to see how much they can get away with, how far they can go.

Or it could be worse than that. What if they are deliberately being incompetent so that when elected John Kerry will be able to get away with anything? What if they want the liberals to be so grateful that GWB is gone that they will turn a blind eye, and not accept any wrongdoings because John Kerry is a Liberal and can do no wrong?

Also note that both John Kerry and GWB are members of the Skull and Bones, an extremely exclusive secret society. It seems more likely that not that they are in fact good friends with each other. Conspiracy Theorists think that Skull and Bones has been pulling strings in US Politics for a long time.

Taken to extremes, What if John Kerry is the Anti-Christ and GWB is part of a conspiracy to not only get him elected, but to create a situation where no one will question his actions?

OK, I don't actually believe in the Anti-Christ, but there are many out there who do. There are people who think the Apocalypse is something to look forward and would work towards creating it. George W Bush might be one of these people.

Addendum:

Part of what I wanted to use in this argument was how many people are saying "Anyone but Bush." This is scary. Don't these people realize that "Anyone but Bush" includes Dick Cheney? it would include John Ashcroft? It would include (Da dam daaaaa!) The Anti-Christ!

And one more thought. Some on "the left" think that if "the right" just gets bad enough, that the people in this country will wake up. It isn't going to happen people.

Final thought: Will people please stop saying "At least it can't get any worse." Ever time someone says that things get worse! So Stop it! Do not challenge the fates to make things worse.
