Adhemar writes "BBC News reports that a California court ruling ordered the whistle-blower site Wikileaks.org to be taken off-line. It also ordered Dynadot, which controls the site's domain name, to remove all traces of Wikileaks from its servers, and to prevent the domain name from resolving to the wikileaks.org website or any other website or server other than a blank park page, until further order of this Court. The case was brought by a Swiss bank after "several hundred" documents were posted about its offshore activities. Other sites of Wikileaks, such as Wikileaks.be, Wikileaks.cx, Wikileaks.de, etc., are still active. Wikileaks remarks that the order was written by Cayman Island's Bank Julius Baer lawyers and was accepted by judge White without amendment, and that Wikileaks was not represented, given notice "by email" only hours prior to the hearing."
