+ - Star Trek Synthehol beta goes into development->

Submitted by Ada_Rules
Ada_Rules (260218) writes "Researchers at the Imperial College London have announced development of an alcohol substitute that has many of the same properties as the Sythehol from the series Star Trek in that one will get a buzz from it but will not end up with a hangover. In addition you will have the option of getting immediately sober if you so desire it.

Let's hope this is not the typical vaporware. It is not that I really want a drink of Synthehol but with its release I assume Romulan Ale won't be far behind."

+ - Will Wheaton's Epiphony

Submitted by Ada_Rules
Ada_Rules (260218) writes "It has been a few months since we've had a good Will Wheaton story (Wesley Crusher on Star Trek : The Next Generation, but if you did not know that you probably are at the wrong website). I've always been pretty amazed that he appears to have managed to gain a healthy perspective on his time on the show and the way fans treated him. His recent posting on Suicide Girls probably is the the definitive writing on the subject. He has gone from acceptance to nostalgia. I think we all must just be getting old."

Neutrinos have bad breadth.
