As a travel agent, let me tell you: Travel Agents are going the way of the dodo.

Why? Just as an anecdote, hardly a day goes by without a jerk calling to get recommendations on a flight or a hotel, and after I give them some prices and advice, I can hear them clacking on their keyboards and saying, "Ok, thanks, I got it three dollars cheaper on Expedia, Bye!!"

Really, it's quite simple.

Every time you sit down to watch a movie or a TV series, you pop in another disc for the computer to rip and convert while playing another file.

With current hardware, your computer should be able to do this without hiccups or other issues.

You could also use the time spent watching the movies popping a new disc into the ripping/converting station every time you sit down to watch a movie.

You will eventually convert your entire collection and it won't feel like a chore.

How about laying the monitor flat on the desk? or maybe at a 20-30 angle?
I wonder if a large touchscreen would work better that way
