A modern fuel-injected car already runs well without having to dick around with a carburetor. We don't need to mess around with our cars just to keep them running decently like we used to.

Lots of open space under the hood is nice if you have to work on a car, but you wouldn't need to work on a better car very often, and would get much better mileage, and a better chance of surviving a wreck instead of being crushed by a steering wheel. I used to drive a gas-guzzling 1964 Cadillac. My 2001 Accord is superior in all ways.

Double taxation isn't generally an issue, since you get credit for taxes paid in the country you reside in, and most developed nations have higher taxes than we do. There are a lot of tax complications though, so I'd lean toward not making the kids U.S. citizens if they're going to live their lives outside the U.S. http://www.thinkadvisor.com/20...

They can't do anything about that. If that's your issue with VR, you're out of luck. It's not for you.

They've been working on the head tracking and latency to solve the problem for people who are sensitive to delay or errors in head tracking. Fortunately I'm not sensitive to either issue, and could enjoy head-tracking VR much more primitive than the upcoming devices. Playing F.E.A.R. on an emagin z800 years ago was an excellent experience that actually induced fear while playing.
