I have in my fridge a container of grasshopper salsa that is The Yum. From Diane Kennedy's Oaxaca book. It's not the only insect recipe there either. I want to be replace the laptop's keyboard with something that looks like my typematrix [dvorak] keyboard (no, I don't own stock in the company, I'm just a very satisfied costumer).
But in general, I'd like a laptop I could build myself from parts, standarized replaceable keyboards, screens, motherboards, drives, cases, etc. The same thing we take for granted in desktops and servers.
