Journal Journal: The FEAR

Well, it is once again upon me. As HST called it, THE FEAR. There is something ominous hanging in the wings and it's very breath is upon us. This election in a month is going to be a decision between life and death for many of the youth in our nation. We have returned to 60's in a not so cool way.

Understand this before you go any further; Bush and Kerry both want to stay in Iraq. To do so they will need more bodies, they do not have enough. Round about the 15th of november expect the DRAFT to be re-instated. If you have children between the ages of 17-26, you will be sending them to die by voting for either one of these 2 fucktards.

It can't be said any more plainly. A vote for the democraps or th repubicans will be a vote to KILL PEOPLE.

I can't and won't. I will vote for Badnarik. I still won't be able to sleep but, I will at least have voted my conscience.

LART!
Well, here we go. Linux rocks. Nuff said. I have been using linux since 1998 w/DeadRat 5.2. I saw how it could take the server markets quickly, as it did, but the desktop came and went with Corel, wrong market strategy, I jumped to Mandrake 6, and found a home. I use many different distro's now, depending on what I need and where. I currently am running a Helix/Realaudio server on a SuSE-cdbased distro. It works and is running on a 233mhz pentium mmx with 64mb ram. (x is slow but it works well in mode 3). For secure webservers on minimal hardware, you can't do it with Winders. For making routers with old hardware, that run an ids and great logging ... can't do that with winders.

For a good gui on a 233mmx i386 type system, find a copy of Beos, it works and it is fast on that hardware.

There is so much to learn and I am constantly learning more each day thanks to my friendly neighborhood slashbots!!!
