I'd already have switched to Chrome if not for FF's Live Bookmarks. Reading a bunch of different sites, multiple times a day it makes for an easy scan of story titles to see if anything is worth looking at. Otherwise I'd switched long ago and was sad Chrome didn't come with it. I don't want to manage a dedicated app.

Mod parent up. Live bookmarks is the only reason i still use FF and the chrome apps that attempt to replicate come close but aren't there. Should have been in Chrome since version 4...

We'll trade you the Stanley Cup for a discount.

Wow, the Boston Bruins have more Canadian players than any other team in the league (other than san jose). In fact, there are many more Americans playing for the Vancouver Canucks than there are on the Boston Bruins.

So shut the fuck up.

1993! That was the last time Canada won the Cup. Who cares what nationality the players are the cup is in Boston now and Chicago last year!

So why don't you shut the fuck up and go burn some cars or something.

Well, considering you entered your password into a public-facing website, just to test how secure it is, the answer is...

Your password is not very secure at all.

Yes because they will now go to every dropbox account looking for keepass files, find mine and use my password on it.

Rooting an Android phone (or an iPhone) doesn't take a whole lot of computer savvy. Basically it's script kiddie level - 1. So, you might THINK you know a lot about computers and ROMS and whatnot, but you might not keep up on the security aspect. You might not be the most discerning of people when it comes to a 'neat' app. Further, as the malware designers get more sophisticated, it will be harder to tease out a reputable developer from some jackass trying to screw you. There will be some 'survival of the fittest' selection here and the vast majority of users that don't root their phones won't have many problems, but there the malware authors think there is enough of a market to spend the time to hack at the platform.

Apparently your reading level is elementary school -1...

We aren't talking about rooting or jail breaking a phone here. This is completely changing the operating system on your phone. It requires quite a bit more time and effort than rooting your phone. Most people who are changing the ROMs on their phones know what they are doing. Only something like 500k use CM which is a tiny fraction of the android user base.

I would be leery about that. Most people don't use a passphrase large enough to seriously resist brute force attacks (20 characters minimum is what TC recommends). Plus, even encrypted data is still useful, because an adversary can brute force it at their leisure when stored remotely. Keeping the passwords stored on a device that would require physical access to gives a lot better security and keeps the baddies from getting access in the first place.

According to http://howsecureismypassword.net/ my password would take a million years to brute force. Not to worried about getting it brute forced. Without access to these passwords everywhere (phone/laptop/public computers/tablet) they are useless to me. What good is great security if you have no way to use what that security protects?

Yes you're still wrong. I have shot handguns many time for the enjoyment of it.
