You're right. I thought the context was clear but I can see how it wouldn't be.
I should have added "through social media"

But the doctors, who in the US are over 98% Republican because they hate us
I was wondering how long it would take for the verbatim phrase of "Republicans hate us" to move from troll to interesting/insightful.
Really does go to show if you say something enough, people will believe it.
This is the problem with Obama's campaign machine. His was the first to understand the power of repeating thing over and over again in simple terms and people will believe it no matter how ridiculous they original thought the idea was.
If I want to see the research (I mean real research) on human reaction to mercury , and maybe any studies or abstracts about it, I can't really use Google now. The first 200 website are anti vaccine websites.
It must have something to do with the type of searches you have preformed in the past.

Granted, I only look at the first page of results, but non of them had anything to do with anti vaccination.
I really don't get how people don't find this scary. What if the next CEO decides global warming is a hoax or that the earth is flat? Do you think the current Google will find websites that complain about Google's stance on privacy factual?
I quit using google a few days ago after reading one of the slashdot articles on alternative web searches and this makes me even more glad I did.
I thought about this as well and switched to Yandex which has a similar interface as gmail. I'd never thought I'd go to the Russians for privacy but they seem less likely to be subpenaed by the feds. That said, using a Russian email probably already brings it's own extra attention to me.
I thought of setting up my own server but decided it really wasn't worth the bother. Most of my friends and family use gmail, so gmail still gets their profile one me regardless of what I do.
We just went through this in my hometown (San Antonio.)
We passed laws outlawing cell phones because it causes reckless driving. The thing is, we already have laws against reckless driving.
Do we need a law for eating food in the car while driving or putting make up on?
My comment was more about the power of propaganda than anything else.
What I said is easily verified by a quick google search.
Same here. I'd check is their website has the download but my job blocks all sites related to proxies.
I'm hoping. It's hard for me to get any energy behind this since they keep backing down after looking like they are finally going to take a stand and stick with it.
Both parties seem to be in an all or nothing mode. Republicans have a history of beating the drums and then panicking and backing down. The recent homeland security bill is a good example of the democrats either getting everything or shutting down the department of homeland security.
They will demand answers because a portion of the population has been convinced that being an all seeing oracle at the center of the communications universe is the job of government.
Unfortunately, a large portion of people are starting to believe that all aspects of life and everything else are jobs of the government.
Didn't really hurt Bush, even when it was apparent he was more interested in golf than security.
Bush played less golf in two terms than most presidents play in one term. Obama is at over 4 times as many games. This is a Michael Moore image that has really stuck, though, and is a good reminder of the power of propaganda.
And so will any non-free market. Do you honestly think that government is not corruptible?
You need a passport to go into these countries anyways.
Exactly - keeping your insurance id on your phone is already available in Texas. Not sure why this would be different.
Any review in all caps, I skip.
