YokimaSun writes: Following on from the announcement of the Kindle Fire HD earlier, Amazon UK have now released both the Kindle Fire HD in 16 and 32GB variations and the new Kindle Fire which is also being released for the first time in the UK. Both Android Tablets are being released with prices that are extremely competitive against the iPad and iPad Mini. The Kindle Fire is to be priced at £129 and the higher spec Kindle Fire HD to be £159 for the 16GB and £199 for the 32GB version."

Busshy writes: Amazon have finally brought their Kindle Fire Android Tablet over to Europe with the release of the Kindle Fire HD, this is Amazon's effort to compete with the Apple iPad/iPad Mini and other Android Tablets such as the Nexus 7 and the Nook HD. The Kindle Fire HD has a new build, much improved display, front facing camera. Its taller than the original Kindle Fire (7.6 Inches) and a little wider (5.4 Inches), slimmer and lighter, yet the actual screen size is bigger. Amazon are also releasing a slightly more powerful original Kindle Fire for Europe and the UK.

YokimaSun writes: Its nearly a month before the release of the WiiU and already the console giants have fired the first salvos in the run up to Xmas 2012.DCEmu.com are reporting that Microsoft have taken $50 of their 4GB and 250GB Bundles and even off preorders of the Halo 4 bundle. Nintendo to counter this have announced a new $129 hardware bundle that includes a black Wii console as well as Wii Sports and Wii Sports Resort, finally Sony have released their Superslim PS3 with 12GB of Flash Memory with a price of £159.

Croakyvoice writes: Announced on Slashdot a few weeks ago the new entry level 12GB PS3 Superslim has been released, the latest iteration of the Playstation 3 has Flash memory instead of a hard drive although you can easily add a larger hardrive via a caddy. Instead of a disc fed tray you now get a top loading machine. The 12GB version is at the moment just for the Europe/Australian Regions with a price aimed at those on a lower budget and to intice more of the casual gamer market.

Croakyvoice writes: Sony have today released their PS3 Superslim 12GB version which has Flash Memory onboard. Sony claim the console is now 25% lighter and smaller than their previous versions. The new PS3 Superslim has had a redesigned internal design architecture and removed the disc-fed tray and replaced it with a sliding top-loading disk cover. The price of the 12GB version is a wallet friendly £159 compared to the release of the 500GB version of the PS3 Superslim a few weeks ago which retails at £229.

It has a decent 8 hours of battery usage and if your lucky enough to own a flash cart for either the Snes or Megadrive this could very much be the ultimate system for you.

Now Samsung are sueing Apple over the iPhone 5 claiming that the phone has infringed on its patents.
