I know that this concept sounds absurd, but there are a lot of materials out there that provide a vast array of evidence, including many interviews with many witnesses. If you read the variety of information out there, the fact that they exist becomes obvious.

Their existence is obvious, and confirmed by witnesses from all walks of life, but their origins are a thing of debate. Sitchin believes they came from the planet Nibiru. I'm not sure what Jan Van Helsing says about their origins because I can't read German. Abdullah Hashem suggests they are "crypto terrestrials". Icke suggests they came from the lower fourth dimension — and it's the dimension-shifting which gives the appearance of shape-shifting. Peggy Kane says they're demonic. Perhaps their origins are a mix of the theories. But regardless of origins, it's time for us to do something about them.

You know the saying: "What happens in Guantanamo, stays in Guantanamo." Not anymore. The Standard Operating Procedures for the prison at Guantanamo Bay — a more than two hundred page document — was leaked onto the internet.

The manual indicates some prisoners are off limits to visitors from the Red Cross, which the military has repeatedly denied.

notaspunkymonkey writes: I currently work in the IT department of a BPO organisation, and have been given the opportunity to investigate some pros and cons to switch from our current Windows Desktop and Laptop solution, to a new and exciting thin client solution.

We have nearly 5000 desktop computers which are due to be refreshed around the globe, and are looking to either save money from a deployment or administration perspective. This potentially goes hand in hand with our efforts to centralise our data in 2 main data centres.

What experiences do people have with any vendors, or switching to this kind of infrastructure? All potential vendors will have you believe that its simple and users love it, however in the real world this is often very different, any horror stories out there?

For all of Microsoft's denial, the Xbox 360 Blu-ray console rumors just will not die. In fact, they are getting more and more specific. The Chinese language Economic Daily News is reporting that Pegatron, an OEM subsidiary of ASUS, has won the order from Microsoft to assemble the Xbox 360 with Blu-ray Disc ROM drive -- shipments are expected to being in Q3 of this year. Man Hides Castle Behind Hay Bales

A UK farmer built an entire mock castle and kept it hidden behind bales of hay for 4 years to avoid building regulations. The builder wants to take advantage of a provision of planning law that allows buildings without planning permission to be declared legal if no objections have been made after four years. The county council is not happy and is moving their mock seige weaponry towards the farm.

notaspunkymonkey writes: I work for a company which is looking at implementing a thin client solution for our office based workers; and was wondering what the slashdot crowd have used, or have experiance with, and what works the best.

Here comes the snag.. we have a vast enterprise all geared up to use Microsoft Products, and the powers that be have no plans to change this at all — I know there are dozens of solutions out there, just wondering what type of solution works best.

Linux recommendations are welcomed anyway — as I would like to be able to offer open source alternatives to each Windows recommendation in the hope that they realise the money that can be saved, and the Kudos which could be earned with our more Open Source friendly clients.

This has resulted in Incredimail's shares going down more than 45 percent.
