You and everyone else are missing the point here. As far as Michael Brown was concerned he was a thug participating in a thug lifestyle. Regardless of whether or not he was near said store, what he stole, or what he did he was leading a lifestyle that eventually would end with him in jail or shot. It just happened sooner than later. I am not saying whether or not what happened was justified at the time, but eventually what happened was going to happen. When you play thug games your life will end as all thug lives do, in jail or dead! In my opinion both parties were guilty here. The cop for unnecessary use of force, but if kids had manners and discipline these days Michael Brown might not have smarted off to the police officer to begin with which is what started the confrontation. One of my favorite quotes from Forest Gump fits here: "Stupid is as stupid does." One can't expect to live a lifestyle like this and not have any repercussions.

The fact of the matter is that everyone has a standard that they will not go past. Some peoples standards are lower/higher than others. If you are overweight you can't expect to date an underwear model. If you are lower middle class you can't expect to date someone making six figures plus. The only exception to the rule is a women making less than six figures may be able to land a guy making more than six figures if she is smoking hot that is where the phrase "Arm Candy" came from.

It could easily be done! The problem is that Dice wouldn't implement it because they don't give a rats ass about this site or any other site they buy. The only thing they care about is how many users they have to look at advertisements. That is why the beta site has no way to suppress ads like the standard site does. The minute the standard site goes away, and beta becomes the norm I will be gone.

You jest but maybe it actually is them testing the waters. I noticed upon visiting the beta site the first time that there is no way to disable ads for vetern slashdotters as there is on the normal site. They are obviously trying to find a way to make money off of their large captive audience and since they couldn't convince the majority of us to buy in to the beta site, which forces ads on everyone, this might be the way that they go.

Motorola is one of the only exceptions that I am aware of that has a "Smart" phone with a physical keyboard that isn't too horrible. http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/2...
