If you believe in god, why would the existence of aliens prove that god doesn't exist?

I gather this is a problem for Christianity. The Incarnation was supposed to only happen once. But if beings exist on other planets, Jesus would have had to appear to them as well, and go throught the whole resurrection thing again.

Wasn't there a case reported here a while ago in which a law firm tried to prevent this by copyrighting their cease-and-desist order, thereby making it an offense to reproduce it?

This tactic was in response to a large number of bloggers attempting to ridicule take-down notices by publishing all correspondence.

I can't recall if it was successful.
