I think the answer to your question lies on pages 36 and 38 of the Ohio Digest of Motor Vehicle Laws Handbook, It also seems to agree with AdrianKemp.

Left Turn
The driver of a vehicle intending to turn left Is required to yield the right-of-way to any vehicle approaching from the opposite direction. Prior to engaging a left-hand turn, the driver must wait for oncoming traffic to clear the intersection. One may advance into the intersection as a prelude to turning, provided that no other traffic control devices prohibit this action.

STOPPING
A driver must stop Before entering an intersection if there is not sufficient space on other side to accommodate the vehicle. The law applies whether or not a traffic signal gives the driver a right to proceed.

+Pool Would Let New Yorkers Go River Swimming 133

cylonlover writes "Three young entrepreneurs have proposed a way of getting New Yorkers into the Hudson, East and/or Bronx Rivers. It's called the +Pool (Plus Pool) — a public swimming pool that would float in the river, allowing people to swim in filtered river water. River water would flow into the pool through permeable walls, which would be composed of three layers filtering out the river nasties."

Slackware 8.1-stable is released! :-)

Fri Sep 21 15:01:21 PDT 2001
Started new -current directory. For now, this will be used to hold upgrades to
Slackware 8.0, starting with KDE-2.2.1. I used the long package name format
that's been used in the Slackware ports (name-version-arch-build.tgz) and
which will be the default format in slackware-next.

Have fun!

I think Glenn Beck might disagree with that statement.

On the laptop I was trying to troubleshoot the universal power adapter would not charge the battery with the laptop off and would halt on boot with a message stating that the battery would not charge because the power supply could not be identified. After hitting F1 the computer would boot but the battery would not charge.

Since I have not switched my cheap HDMI cable with a Monster cable I can't comment on which produces better output from my TV.
