Although Amazon may pay $2.00 more per game, is that going to make up for the shipping costs to send them the disc and get the new one? I'd love to see some pressure on GameStop to pay more for used games, but I don't think $2.00 is going to be enough.

"he took a look at the situation around him and altered his plans accordingly!"

Politicians have to be careful about any change in position (rational or not) for fear of getting the dreaded "Flip-Flopper" label. Obama still has quite a lot of good will, but by the next election some of that will have worn off, and I'm sure his Republican opponent will use the "Flip-Flopper" label frequently.

The official presidential portrait was shot on a digital camera for the first time. The picture was taken by the White House's new official photographer, Pete Souza, and issued by The Office of the President Elect through its Web site. It was taken on Tuesday evening at 5:38 p.m. using a Canon EOS 5D Mark II, according to the metadata embedded in the image file."

Fallout 3 DLC Detailed 137

Eurogamer spoke with Bethesda's Jeff Gardiner about the upcoming downloadable content for Fallout 3. The new gameplay will be bundled into three different segments, the first of which is due this month. The last segment will raise the game's level cap to 30. Gardiner had this to say about how the Strike Teams would work: "The player will be able to choose, from a limited resource pool, what type of team members will accompany him or her on several missions within the simulations. These choices include different troop types like snipers or heavy weapons troops. They'll also be able to make tactical decisions on how to deploy these troops in certain situations. The Chinese Stealth Suit was what I was hinting at last week — it works similar to stealth boy every time you crouch!"

I know religion is a popular punching bag around here, but this type of behavior derives more from human nature than religion. We are pack animals and are most comfortable when we are able to form groups. I'm reminded of the short story by Dr. Seuss called "The Sneetches". People will always find some reason to feel they are better than others, even if that reason is completely ridiculous, and that sometimes leads to hostilities.

Of course, your feeling of superiority to anyone who is religious is not in any way related. :)
