You don't even have to pay to send them home. An anonymous tip to INS does your firing for you.

That 1950 "adjusted" rate is off by about $4k andthe year is a cherry picked point. 1950-55 was a time of HUGE minimum wage reform, much like now.
You have been lied to. That is EXACTLY what the minimum wage is supposed to do. It is in the charter creating the minimum wage. Maybe if you would take a little time to educate yourself you would not have to hide your shame behind anonymous posts.
We have a Conservative President. He is far more Conservative than Reagan or Bush Sr.
We only have Conservative parties at the moment. There is the just right of center Democrats, and the holy-shit-complete-nutbag so far to the right as to be off the fucking charts Republicans. And then we have the Tea Party subset that make THEM look sane.
Ouch. you can't present facts to the Fox crowd. They have never seen a fact before, it is an alien thing. It sparks a fight-or-flight response.
Fox News refusing to show you the open and up front discussions on this does not mean they didn't happen. You should try a different source for your information.
Don't sweat it man. I'm sure once Comcast dumps you you can find a job shilling for some other evil master.
They do that out here. The cities have laid a fiber network and charge a small fee to anyone who hooks up to it. The providers are all given equal access to that network. We have 12 of them, and they fight tooth and nail to get your business. No caps, cheap costs, and customer service just this side of fellatio.
No need. Taxpayers already gave Comcast and Verizon $2.5Bn to ensure that rural broadband is set up.
Of course, they immediately used it to increase executive salaries and pay out bonuses to themselves- but they will do as they promised eventually, right? Its only been 10 years, it would be absurd to expect some sort of progress on this already.
Seeing your job as an anti-neutrality shill drying up, are we?
I bought my 14 year old daughter a new laptop that had Windows 8 on it. She wiped it out and installed Linux. She runs Steam for most games, and WINE for a couple because Steam does not quite work for them.
She is not computer illiterate, but she is not an IT guru either. She googles what she needs to know and follows guides she finds.
Same. Mr Homer J. Simpson of 742 Evergreen Terrace has a lot of internet accounts. That Ned Flanders that lives next door has a lot of porn accounts.
I beg to differ. I moved from sysadmin to security because this is where the growth is, and doubled my salary. I get headhunters and poachers several times a week trying to lure me away with wheelbarrows full of money. Companies are finally starting to realize they need to take security seriously.
I have had to do this many times professionally, and this is by far the easiest way to do it. I have a multi-adapter for SATA, IDE, and SCSI to USB 2.0. Those are expensive, but the SATA/IDE to USB2 are cheap.
It is only a matter of time before they start working together to keep salaries down.
To do nothing is to be nothing.
