After driving for 12 years over a 40,000 sq mi territory doing hardware tech, I would often speed without any accidents. It's a result of planning, equipment, and keeping sharp behind the wheel. Limited access highways are perfectly safe to around 90 mph traffic permitting. I would only attempt speeds over 100 mph on clear sunny days with little traffic and between cities.
