You do have to unscrew the lid every time you open it, but that doesn't bother me much. Also, the 2 rubber bands on the outside came off of mine. Again, doesn't matter to me. I am very impressed with the quality of the aluminum case and it has a 10-yr warranty.

Yes the way others play effects the individual hands. But I doubt it has an overall effect on your odds of winning. If a player hits on a 20, they could just as easily burn a low card that you would have gotten and the jack could be next.
