Thing is, there's a difference between the expected maturity of a representative of a company to not behave like someone trying to win an argument on the internet. The complaint that was made was a valid one and shouldn't have been dismissed as one belonging to a child. I think if the argument went any further that guy from the company would have brought out a Nazi comparison at some point.

I concur, the movie wasn't great at all. You know its pretty bad when they use a montage for the first real action set that the Captain is in. And not a good montage in the least.

I'm of the opposite reaction here, and I plan on sticking with Netflix despite this. Over a year ago I cut off my DirecTV service as I was paying $85 a month, this being 2 years after the $30 a month introductory cost. So now all I get is the free over the air stuff and Netflix and a $5 a month increase isn't going to change that. People need some perspective here because at least Netflix is announcing it rather than sneakily increasing your bill over the months like DirectTV and Time Warner.

There's plenty of things to get fat on besides drinking beer (like over consumption of food). I actually lost weight (0.5 pounds lost per week) while still being able to enjoy several beers on the weekend by cutting back on the food I ate during the week and exercising.

No I don't currently have a Kindle, though I plan to get one once I finish reading several of the physical books I need to read. But my main point is that $25 off from $140 is chump change to me and doesn't justify going for the ad supported version even if its not that obtrusive. So a significantly lower price would be needed for me to consider that, otherwise I'd rather just go ahead and pay the $140 once I'm ready to get one.

yeah $25 off is clearly not enough, it needs to be no more than half the price to make it worth actually considering the ad supported version
