Well first thing that comes to mind is D-Link and Linksys with their "airboost" and whatever the other one was called. Want to take advantage of the faster speeds you need a specific router or wifi-card/usb dongle/whatever...

In general I agree with you but Netflix does support non-windows machines as evidenced by their Roku support and I seriously doubt they're running Silverlight.

There's a way to watch/play mythtv recordings/live tv on xbmc using the myth:// protocol. I find that xbmc works a lot better than myth for existing media and don't bother running the mythtv frontend.

The problem with that is when you have a train from La to Vegas it just means money can leave the state that much faster. I can't understand why Vegas itself hasn't gotten around to building a rail in that direction...

The article stated that they broke into his car to install it - probably somewhere within the engine. Not sure if it has an onboard battery or if it used the car's power system. I wonder if you found it and removed it what the repercussions would be.

Wouldn't it be better to use 0.0.0.0 instead of 127.0.0.1? The latter attempts to connect while the former doesn't bother. And it helps when you're running a local server :)

This linkshows a method of growing it vertically so allow optimal light exposure which apparently allows for greater growth (not sure how practical it is but at least it doesn't have to take much surface area)
