I'm not sure it will make a lot of difference to be honest. The Wii-U has the touchscreen controller, shipped with every Wii-U. It is a consistent, core component that publishers know will be present and can reliably build functionality for, whereas this is a kind of add-on that publishers can't count on being present, or even consistent. Different screen resolutions, depends on network availability, which may or may ot introduce some lag or delay. I can't really see it being anything more than a short lived novelty

It's possible, but I think in this case, it was probably because Stratasys became AWARE of this. I believe that it was a purely arse-covering move on Stratasys' part. If they allowed it to continue, being fully aware of what their equipment was being used for, and someone out there decided it would be ultra cool to take these plans and continue on their merry way, made a full plastic gun, and it exploded and took off their fingers - well, I'm sure that Stratasys would have some kind of legal case thrown at them. This way, they have been seen to be taking action. I don't necessarily agree with their actions, but I can understand their viewpoint too.

I loved D2, and still play it occasionally with my sons (who, incidently was 1 when it was released and the other wasn't even born - I feel so old), so I really was looking forward until D3 until I found out about the always online thing, and that was the deal breaker for me. Trading house, DRM, whatever the reason, always online is just not practical nor even possible, I spend a lot of time on trains (3 hrs + per day) travelling through regional areas with spotty coverage at best. I picked up TL 1 and enjoyed it, so I'll pick up TL2 for the multiplayer goodness and replace D2.

It's a modified Linux distro for the RP, but it sets up as a media center - "Raspbmc is a minimal Linux distribution based on Debian that brings XBMC to your Raspberry Pi. This device has an excellent form factor and enough power to handle media playback, making it an ideal component in a low HTPC setup, yet delivering the same XBMC experience that can be enjoyed on much more costly platforms" It/they are supposed to be simple, no-brainer installers that give you a ready to go media center without lots of faffing around. Xbian is a 'competing' distro.
