Or formulate an XR "Extended Release" version of the drug under the same name.

On the other hand, the profits from existing drugs helps pay for research into new drugs to some degree, so could India be similar to a big company that uses Open Source but doesn't release any of their own code?

Because last I heard the mature approach would be to provide constructive criticism, wait and see what happens, and then simply leave if the outcome is unbearable and the feedback is ignored. I voiced my opinion to them and if they do nothing to alleviate my concerns I'll simply stop using the site.

This site has been something special to a number of readers and posters here, and seeing the place go down in flames like Digg did when they ignored their users' feedback is a highly suboptimal emotional experience.

The thread in TFA has been full of people asking for an application just like the submitter's app, which adds value to their Panasonic TVs, and yet management keeps on pushing the beta site. Oh, what were we talking about again? MyCleanPC?

If I'm reading that right, that means we're all going to be forced into the awful new version whether we like it or not. Apparently Dice hasn't learned from the spectacular fall from grace that Digg had when they badly botched version 4 of their site, even when many users complained. The parallels here are clear, we the readers have been clear we don't like what we see. That Dice is willing to say "tough luck" anyway gives the best hint why Monster.com is the dominant job board and Dice is just a niche player. Users opinions matter, especially on a user-driven site.

If NPR sounded less like MSNBC, I doubt the Republicans would bother with their pittance of the federal budget. NPR is so left wing that commercial talk radio is almost exclusively right wing.

In any case, this program doesn't sound as likely to produce future advances as the space program could.
