Actually, since us humans evolved from water to land, sea-creatures seem like a good starting point for studying Artificial Intelligence.

Especially the brainy mammals that crawled back into the ocean and grew a big nostril on the back of their necks. Dolphins and whales are genuinely intelligent and don't need AI in their robots.

The political accolades are deserved as well, but lets face it, southern Australia has a great deal of land and resources relative to the population and demand. That makes perfect sense since people in Japan originated from the mainland, and apparently they brought their stuff. I travel such a long road to the obvious. Turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so. Turning Japanese I think I'm turning Japanese I really think so.

Lawsuits are generally an unreliable alternative to income earned by full time employment. You can't sue "anonymous" any more than an organization should base a hiring decision on "anonymous" references or testimony.

Perhaps, the worst job market in decades is as much to blame as the candidate's desperation to come to terms with the hard reality: there are too many people available for hire, including and perhaps especially, those already employed and willing to jump ship, laterally. It seems "poaching" options are psychologically irresistible to committees who refer or decide hiring candidates that are a safe bet for a covered rear end.

Exactly.

Perverse incentives dilute the mission. Just like PBS gradually becoming another corporate media ho. It's prostitution plain and simple. Call it lobbying, or fundraising, or whatever you like, it doesn't change the fact that accepting this revenue, in this way, makes you their bitch.
