I especially like them because then it means I don't have to dog ear the page to mark my place. If there's something I want to remember, I can then dog ear the page, and still use the ribbon to keep track. Yeah, I could use a pen or a bookmark or whatever else to mark it, but I only had to bring along the book, nothing else.

I discovered the Everyman's Library series a while back and have come to love them, and have started a collection of them. The ribbon bookmark, nice binding, good "extra information", as well as the award winning Pevear/Volokhonsky translations for their Russian books.

By your rule, a gun is never in control if you're firing it, or if it's even loaded. If I load my shotgun, then yell "pull", my firearm's not under control, even if I'm aimed at the flying clay pigeon. Good to know that you've never safely operated a firearm.

The Prius does have a decent amount of power, until the battery runs out. Then you're sitting on the tiny little 76HP waiting til you reach the top of the mountain so you can get some regenerative braking.

It's going very slowly, but here are a couple of examples

My E71 can use Ovi Maps, but the only problem is that as of now you have to use a subscription, over the air system to get navigation (just like Google maps, sans subscription). What this new update does is allow offline navigation, but that new option hasn't been released (yet?) for the E71.

That's for Ovi Maps, not "Ovi Maps - with free navigation".

Available for E72, but not E71. Grrr.... Nokia!

The poll also didn't specify personal mail. In the five months of my internship, I hand addressed, labeled, and stamped at least 100 pieces of mail.

If Congress wants to regulate patents in a way that helps big business, then they can.

For the first time ever in a new Windows installation I didn't feel compelled to immediately set up my video drivers. Everything worked smoothly enough. Of course, I did eventually load them up, but it didn't even require a reboot. Needless to say, I'm very pleased with Windows 7 so far.
