Well, I had a big holiday weekend in Vana'diel... BST hit 70, and best part, BLM 17. That's right, I can warp. Of course, it isn't hugely useful to me as a BST, but as a WHM or a fisherman (fisherwoman?) it is absolutely great. After seeing that I need to save up 20 million gil for a Juggernaut, I think I'm going to be doing quite a bit of fundraising... here's to 8 hour long fishing trips. (For all those PO'ed about fishing fatigue that haven't fished since it was introduced, don't worry, any normal human will never encounter it... of course, there are some like me that are not normal.)

I am scared to check my Karma on Allakahzam's Magical Realm when I get home. An SE rep posted, wanting suggestions on how to stop MPK. I have a feeling I am going to have taken quite a karma hit when I get home. I posted why a person would be motivated to MPK. I wanted to so bad last night, and I honestly feel like the other players deserved it. I didn't because it was against the rules, but when GMs do nothing to those players that steal, they can't be surprised when players feel like they need to take justice into their own hands.

I guess a karma hit is worth it if it means a real life SE rep is actually taking interest. It'll suck if my accound gets below 3.00 and I can't rate posts anymore.

Well, Tuesday night was Dynamis-Bastok. I only died twice, and got a Monster Jackcoat for my troubles. It was funny, the linkshell was laughing at the BST AF dropping... until someone remembered I was there. :D They were all like, "POODLE!" It was sweet. Well, last night I became a beastmaster of a different sort. I purchased the Nintendo DS/Nintendogs bundle. The concept of Nintendogs is incredible simple. Teach your dog tricks and skills, and then let it compete in a trial for prize money. (FWI, despite my user name, I chose a beagle, not a poodle.) The dog gets tired of learning after a while, so you'll need to get used to that fact. I found it allowed me to play for a good solid hour and a half, and then 5 minutes every half hour or so to go out for a walk. The use of voice recognition to give the pets commands is the most innovative feature of this game so far. I feel kind of silly barking commands to a virtual dog. I used to take the Game Boy to Denny's with me all the time and played while I waited for my food. What in the world will the other patrons think of me now...

Well, FFXI is going to be down tonight, so it looks like I will be catching up on Bleach, maybe, and playing A Tale In The Desert. Anyway, last night, I hit 34 in WHM, so I am good to go as a BST until level 70. When I get back on FFXI, I am going to check out floors 11 and 12 of "the tower" - supposedly I can solo against the Jotuns there.

Well, the Pokemon has been put away for now. I always get on a Pokemon kick for a week or two after I travel somewhere and bring the Game Boy. It was back to FFXI for me this past week, and what a week it has been. I beat Maat on Friday, and last night I went on my first ever dynamis run. I am now officially a Dynamis-Jeuno Interloper. And somehow, despite being taken down to 19 HP at one point, I lived the whole night. There was one idiot who wasn't supposed to be allowed to lot, but managed to get away with a RDM AF piece. I hope he enjoys it, because its the last he'll probably get with this LS.

So, I got my 4th badge last night, you know, the one from Norman in Petalburg. I also picked up the Exp. Share on my last trip to Rustboro. I have a whole 7 pokemon in my Sapphire Pokedex, I know, its tough to come up with a win against the Elite 4 with such a small selection.

Well, last night I wandered around long enough for my anorith to be reborn from the Claw Fossil, and evolved a numel into a camerupt. Then I realized next on my list was a Combusken, and there is only one way to get that guy, start a new game (ok, you may be able to hatch one, but I despise pokemon breeding. So, I broke out Sapphire. I have I think 3 gym badges now. I'll play it until I get whatever the Sapphire equivalent of Groudon is, at least.

Well, I am slowly building up my Emerald Pokedex. I have 117 out of 200 now. I'm one of those anal people that want to accomplish everything available in a game, even if it is annoyingly frustrating. I may or may not finish the National Pokedex after I finish the Hoenn one. I do have FireRed and LeafGreen and Colloseum available to me if I really wanted to, but I will probably go back to FFXI well before I do all that. I also have FMA 2 to play sometime. Some things in some games, like the Lu Shang's quest in FFXI, are so utterly ridiculous. If I were to spend 3 hours on it every day, it would take me well over 3 months to complete. That's just insane.
