Submission + - Internet community responds to global climate talk

gcranston writes: Canadians outraged by the poor showing of their leaders at the global climate talks in Bali have started what could become the largest petition in Canadian history. The goal is to get 100 000 signatures before the end of the conference with just over 2 days left. The petition has already gathered over 33 000 signatures in 20 hours. This is just more evidence of the growing discontent with the Harper government a loud statement that Canadians will not tolerate the sort of unilateral action that goes on south of the border.
