Things might be heating up between the Mozilla folks and the IE folks. Why? Mozilla and others have been pushing for work on ES4 or ECMAScript 4th Edition. ECMAScript is better known as JavaScript. While Microsoft was a force behind the creation of all previous editions of ECMAScript since achieving browser dominance it seems they have stopped contributing. This week on the Wii virtual console only two games were released. Why is this news? They were both Japan only games before this. It seems that Nintendo has started to translate and release Japan only games in the US. The games are Sin and Punishment for N64 and Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels for NES. An interesting note is that both games seem to have a 20% translation tax. NES games are normally $5 and this is $6 and N64 games are normally $10 and this is $12. Just what else does Nintendo have planed for it's Virtual Console?
