Start using a democratic system where every vote is equal, it's called Proportional Representation and works very well.

It would also be the end of the two party systems.

Personally I agree but the likelihood of it happening is very small. The chances of someone who has just won by the fisrt past the post system voting for a change is very low!

No; they were not unexpected the company forced the game to launch without taking the time to properly QA the title.

This is where the PR and damage limitation departments get in. They will have known that they should have expected bugs, but as each individual bug was unexpected they felt they could make the above claim.

Really? They were unexpected? Testing didn't bring ANY of these issues up?

You would be surprised at the number of so-called expert testers who ask for the latest, most powerful machines with the latest OS versions etc. as they claim that this will aid their testing. I've seen this in a company where the target machines that actual users were using were known to be older with less powerful graphics cards and some old software for compatibility with some products . I'd imagine the lure of a new machine is eve greater when they don't know what users will be using.

I agree that there is no criminal case, but it should not be the end of story. I have a feeling that though no crime was committed the police should expect a higher standard from officers and I would hope an internal investigation followed by either disciplinary action or training as appropriate will now follow.

These are not contradictory. "Up to two times" just means "not more than two times", and similarly "up to ten times" just means "not more than ten times". This means that if it is not more than two times then it is automatically not more than ten times

Its like if I say "there are no men in the room who are over six feet tall" you could also say "there are no men in the room who are over 100 feet tall", obviously true given the first statement but rather pointless. Of course marketing people might prefer "up to ten times as strong" even if it is only twice as strong as the best competitor
