Hand Written Clock 86

a3buster writes "This clock does not actually have a man inside, but a flatscreen that plays a 24-hour loop of this video by the artist watching his own clock somewhere and painstakingly erasing and re-writing each minute. This video was taken at Design Miami during Art Basel Miami Beach 2009."

Submission + - Real accounting software under Lunux (xtuple.com) 1

Randy Hall writes: For years, there has been a void when talking about accounting software in an open source environment. GnuCash came along to fill the void for users of Quicken and MS-Money. This still left the small business owners out in the cold with no choice but to install Windows just to use commercial software like QuickBooks. The guys over at xTuple have stepped in to fill this hole with a new OSS program called PostBooks. Full disclosure: I know and have worked with some of the folks at xTuple in the past but I have no current ties to them at this time.
