Doesn't this artificially inflate album sales for U2? I mean, it sounds like iTunes has record of millions of customers "purchasing" their new album. Sure, it was $0 but the charts don't ever talk about how much the average price for an album is.

Um... The summary talks about fitting this on people out of jail on parole. Those (generally) aren't cops. The idea of putting it on cops themselves is an afterthought in the summary.

I agree with you, but that doesn't mean I think they shouldn't make & market them. Who knows, maybe this will turn into something I find useful in a few years. As for now, this is overpriced for its capabilities and I don't like the extreme level of vendor lock-in we're seeing here -- but other people won't mind those factors and they are welcome to be the guinea pigs!

This may not be practical, but I'm still glad to see companies driving bigger displays with higher resolutions. It wasn't that long ago that our cell phones had better resolutions than our 55" TVs. I can't wait to see where technology takes us next!

I *do* think the mac pro looks like a trash can, and I worry about things being set on top of it and causing worse heating problems. Just saying, the alienware doesn't have those problems but it is going to be hard to fit the alienware design in with most decor.

Ya, I have to imagine they were talking about iPods and typoed the iPad --- I'm pretty sure there never was a 3.5" iPad, at least not on the market.

Also, agreed, this sounds like a very obvious slashvertisement for the specific phone they are referring to. Especially this part:
