I gotta admit, that's one of those things I don't get among all of this.

"It's Jennifer's fault for putting valuable stuff on the Internet."
"It's the evil hacker's fault for breaking in."

How about we blame the large corporation that claimed that these things were secure when, in fact, they weren't secure and they had known about the issue for 6 months?

The properly analyzed samples come from only a small number of sites, and all from the surface - there's almost nothing known about what lies beneath.

Uh...there were core samples taken to about 3 meters (a little less than 10 feet) below the surface on Apollos 15, 16, and 17 using a drill, and all of the Apollo missions took samples down to about 70 centimeters (27 inches).

My roomate is Vietnamese. Her friend's husband once remarked about having an "American Breakfast"--bread and cheese. That's what he understood we eat for breakfast here in the states. We were chuckling because, of course, an "American Breakfast" is bacon, eggs, hash browns, toast or biscuits, ham, pancakes, sausage, steak, etc. There's lots of options and some are regional, but bread and cheese, for the most part, aren't on that list.

For lunch, I'd maintain that the "submarine sandwich" is probably sufficiently American. Dinner, I'd probably go with simply prepared meat. I can't think of much for sauces for meat in "traditional" American cuisine except for barbecue.

...if they have reason to be concerned for their life...yes. Secure the situation and find out--quickly--what's going on.

I used to live in Miami and I got pulled over one night coming out of a bar at 4:00am. I left the bar, got about two blocks before seeing the bubble-gum machines. I pulled over into a parking lot and there were two police officers who commanded that I step out of the car. They had spotlights trained on me and guns up. They had me lie down on the pavement and they came over and handcuffed me.

They then looked in the back window and what they had heard about--someone had seen, in the back of my car, a machine gun. In fact, I had a replica Beretta M12 which was made of plastic and shot water. They asked, I told them, they checked it out, discovered I was telling the truth, uncuffed me, and suggested that I wait in the parking lot for 30 minutes or so, since I'd been drinking.
