Certainly not comprehensively so. EVE is just too big and too complex, and even the various roles that divide PvP combat are diverse enough that skill at one doesn't necessarily mean skill at another. Then you've got trading, industry, wormhole exploration, lowsec piracy, the list is massive. It is definitely possible to become competent in some things, it isn't really feasible to be good at everything.

In EVE you're the captain, not the helmsman. If you're looking to wiggle your joystick, I'd recommend the Freespace series.

A 'private' organization that nevertheless enjoys an extremely close relationship with said government, starting with the congressional charter and extending throughout all the special treatment given to them and their members by local schools, fire and police departments, and particularly the military. People defending them are always quick to claim the BSA receives 'no federal funds' but that's not really accurate since the taxpayer pays for the schools and the schools in turn financially sponsor the local BSA chapter in many cases. So the BSA is a private organization only when it suits them, and it suits them when their true homophobic colors are under attack, oh yes.

This is something that I think most people already know happens. I mean, I get that verifying it experimentally is necessary before the implications can be considered, but it certainly isn't going to raise many eyebrows, is it?
