What was the target SDK level? Older levels were always given access to phone ID, but in newer levels, it had to be specifically requested. For backwards compatibility, older apps targeted to the older levels would request that permission. Solution would be to have a newer target level, but not necessarily change the minSDK level.

Are you unsure if you can completely wipe the phone?

Anyways, put it on craigslist. Or ask around. I'm sure someone will be willing to take them. I use Android devices as scoring devices for quiz meets, so if someone wanted to give me a pile of Android phones, I'd be happy. Or if someone wants to get into development, having a range of phones is always helpful.

That's planned in a future release. It makes the GUI a little more complex, and I want to keep it nice and simple for the single case scenario. Plus I want to handle some of those more odd accrual rules for when you have those multiple types (such as accrues on a yearly basis, no-rollover, etc).

If you wanted to track just two of them for now, you could use the free app and the paid app and have them track separately.

It's not Open Source, but if there's something specific you want, let me know and I can think about adding it. Or, if you'd like to purchase the entire source and open source it yourself, I'd be open to discussion.

The one guy uses his collar thing to try and open it? That's the wrong tool, of course it's going to be hard. I think some Apple people like to focus on something they're better at and give it more weight than it demands. I opened my Nexus 7 and had no issue with it. I'll never open it again.

On the other hand, if you thought about being able to load apps that aren't approved by the manufacturer, that's a feature you'll want since it's ongoing.

And Archos 10.1 tablet for $259. Now it's just a matter of nitpicking if it's a better value or not. I can do all the things most people with an iPad do and I could almost buy 2 of them for the cost of 1 iPad.

I'm going to wait to see if things can be sideloaded onto this. I have a few custom applications that it would be nice to run without having to publish them in Amazon Appstore. I see rumors, but waiting to see if it's true.

Obama said he woudn't hire anyone who was a lobbyist in the last two years and he's breaking that promise. The reason I'm dealing with absolutes is because that's what Obama was promising. If he had stood up and said, "Well, I'm going to try and not hire lobbyists, but I still might", it's a much weaker statement, but it's one he can stick to. If he says he's not going to do something, and then does it, that's a lie.

Please explain your reasoning.
