the_last_rites writes: The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) suffered months of bad headlines after computer equipment with sensitive data was stolen from the home of an agency employee last May, exposing millions of veterans and active duty personnel to possible identity fraud. But according to a new Congressional report, there's an epidemic of data security breaches across the federal government.
