I thought everybody knew that most Samsung electronics are basically just spy gadgets. This includes their phones and TVs as well. After the baseband modem flaw / fiasco why would you assume any Samsung gadget with a processor and a radio is any better?

Keep using them, especially if you work with sensitive information - the Korean economy thanks you as does one of their largest military contractors, Samsung.

Oh and Google won't mind skimming a bit of your data off the top either.

They collect your real name but you can post under any persona with any email address you choose, valid or not. The real name never makes it off the eternal september servers, I think it is there so they can comply with legal requests and scare off child pornographers.

Well it seems comp.misc has basically nothing at all at the moment, so I don't think we would be taking any resources away from anybody.

However, a couple hundred thousand users suddenly coming into Usenet, perhaps again, perhaps for the first time, could rejuvenate many groups most of which are languishing at this point. People could subscribe to the groups they like, and it would all sort itself out naturally.
