Comment all this really is (Score -1) 256

First, the US is delaying its test because it doesn't want it to be misunderstood and provoke an attack on S. Korea. Thats probably all. The whole threatening thing is for the most part a show to justify the continued militarization of N.K. and also to solidify the new regime's power over the people and gain their trust.

Just curious, does anyone outside of the Los Angeles area know that they are cutting down several hundred full grown trees to make room for the shuttle to be transported via normal city streets? The citizens that live in that area are livid, but apparently it makes no difference. This is a very urban area and the chance of officials actually replanting is null.

Comment XFCE has no bloat and is compatible (Score -1) 818

Gnome 3 - argh.. KDE 4, well I think it is turning into the exact Windows style bloatware I originally went to Linux to get away from. XFCE, which I used to look at and just think it was a nice alternative for those with a system 3 generations old, has now turned into my standard desktop. It is lightweight, fast, and seems to be compatible with everything (At least that I do). I don't care if they fixed the bugs in KDE, it is still grossly bloated now and I won't need to be going back.
