RedMonk has it tied for 6th with C++, PYPL has it at 10th, and TIOBE has it at 14th. It came off from the Rails high, but it remains steadily popular.

That would be a usage of the word popular with which I was previously unfamiliar.

That makes it sound as popular as poking your eyes out with a tree branch.

Sorry, nothing inspiring there, just a rather sad and bitter man using highly selective evidence to attack a straw man.

But at least it shows that Atheists do actively attack religion, despite the many claims to the contrary that have appeared in this discussion.

You must have watched a different video to me, you don't find the Hubble deep field images to be awesome?

I think that if I were delusional enough to believe in a higher power then I would be awe-struck and inspired by the evidence of his great works in those photos. Forget the "world was created in seven days" bit, the observable Universe is an awesome place and if it doesn't strike a cord in your cold-cold heart then I truly feel sorry for you.

Instead of quarantines, we need to treat it at a regular hospital and treat the people with respect.

There's a great idea, let's put a highly infectious virus with a 50% kill rate into a hospital and not quarantine those known to be infected.

That's simply insane.

Yes, the whole situation on the ground is fucked up, but not recognizing that the ONLY way to contain Ebola is by quarantine is going to make things worse not better.

I'm English, but I was pleasantly surprised to find most of the 16-17 year olds giving well reasoned opinions on why they were voting Yes or No.

I spent a good part of last evening listening to BBC Scotland Radio 1, I was very impressed with how civilized and informed everyone was behaving.

But perhaps I'm comparing it with Quebec.
