Comment iPad thoughts? (Score 0, Redundant) 178

Any thoughts on an iPad? I know it's overpriced for what you get like most Apple products, but for all of that it's not too bad. Not sure how your wrists would handle the input on one though if you have issues with touchpads. It is different in the aspect of multi-touch and the various ways you could bring contact with the surface. I know Best Buys in this area have them set up to test out if you're not sure how it would do.

Because people don't want the iPhone for some reason, but want to use Itunes with their smartphone. Honestly Palm should develop their own media application for ease of use. Itunes is not that great a program, and keeps getting slower. I'd rather not use Itunes but it's the easiest thing for managing my Ipod and I'm lazy. I don't use Itunes for any other equipment I own and am quite happy for it. And technically, if you agree to a ToS where you agree not to use non-Apple approved products with Itunes, you're kinda SOL on getting anything done about it. Same as jailbreaking your iPhone....it's a pain in the ass, but that's your fault and problem for going outside of normal operation as deemed by the maker.

Ugh, he says a simple cheap solution...it sounds like it's going to cost just as much to implement it in the background for any companies who chose to use it. Plus they'll have to maintain a copy of what your unique key is, as well as maintain further IT staff in case of errors, which god knows seems to happen a lot on banking websites. Sounds like a way for him to make some fast cash if he can get organizations to take this up.
