There's no such thing as a "natural" aspect ratio, because sitting with your eyes glued to a monitor isn't what we evolved to do.
Years of designing software have taught me one thing, which is that interfaces have to suit the task. When I'm writing or reading, I like a vertically oriented monitor. When I'm watching a movie, I like wide aspect ratio monitor. When I'm programming, I like a moderate aspect ratio landscape monitor, but very, very big. Bigger than I'd want to read a book on or watch a movie on.
So every monitor used for every kind of task is necessarily a compromise, but some monitors may be just the thing for a certain task. Maybe there's a task or mix of tasks where an 19" x 19" sqauare is a good compromise, or a single task where it's ideal. They seem to be pitching it at CAD users. I can see that. I've got my bridge drawings in a rectangular area on screen, but I still have another generous rectangular area for property sheets, tool palletes etc. When I'm working on my tower I arrange things into vertical rectangles.

It is not just the numbers. Ukrainian army is a mess because Ukraine sold almost everything they have inherited from USSR during the last 20 years, the army is not trained, not equipped and the soldiers are often unwilling willing to die for corrupt politicians. The only reason why Ukraine is not overrun yet is that Putin is unwilling to use Russian army in this conflict because it might pull the deeply divided Ukrainian state together - policing a hateful, conquered population would be way too difficult.
Right now it is enough to fund the separatists and occasionally help them out. Ukrainian government will help to do the rest by shelling civilians and generally behaving like a bunch of idiots.
You see, that country is, in a way, similar to Pakistan in 1971. Has been a sovereign country for just about 20 years in its recent history, has artificially drawn borders by the former colonial power, is corrupt, piss-poor, divided inside and their neighbor tries to destabilise it even further. In 1971 these circumstances have lead to a bloody war and creation of Bangladesh. I just hope it won't end up as bloody this time.
What worries me are the very bottom — the folks, who come over here knowing, that they may be able to get foodstamps and other hand-outs, that our schools and hospitals will teach and treat them for free.
Of course is though that most recipients of footstamps and benefits are americans. Immigrants generally flock to first world countries like the US in order to work hard and lead a better life. They generally do the work that people born in the US feel is beneath them or agree to work for far less than them. They will live in smaller rooms, pay less in rent, work longer hours and generally put up with a ton of shit just because it is still better than the country they were born in.
The net result is that the people who suffer from immigrants, both illegal and legal are the sort of people who are also competing for the same dead end jobs, exactly the sort of people who feel they are entitled to those jobs just because they were born here.
Those of us who feel we are entitled to jobs because we are the best person to do the job generally have nothing to fear from immigrants, but we do have a net gain as we can get someone to work of our house, iron our shirts or do our cleaning for a fraction of what someone born in the US would charge. We also benefit from being about to go to the all night food mart to get beer or whatever at a time when most people would demand double time to go to work.
Even the H1B system is often a net benefit to us as the sort of people brought over here under those schemes often reach a glass ceiling pretty quickly and we ultimately get made their boss when they are passed over for promotion for the 5th time even though they work harder.
A corporation is an artificial construct existing on a whim of the current lawmaking of a country (or in this case a union of countries). Thus these states have every right to split it. If it was an unlimited liability general partnership, things would be much different.
