Comment A virtual cloud based super computer? (Score 3, Funny) 86

Why has nobody tried this before? They could easily plow through the data from SETI, fold proteins, or even have a platform for creating and distributing cloud based computing turnkey computing solutions! It's too bad that the cloud was not invented until a year or two ago, this stuff could have probably started out in 1999 if the cloud existed back then.

Don't you guys read articles and look at infographics? All technology and infrastructure instantly hits a standstill the second those articles and infographics are released. By opening this mine they are destroying the fragile web of stupidity created by the idiots that make those things. Just think, somebody may even try to create technologies that use less rare-earth minerals!

"As with the 16-bit era, the console video game systems of this era were advertised as being 128-bit consoles..." Remember how the Dreamcast, Xbox, PS2, and Gamecube were all advertised as 128-bit consoles? Neither do I. How can you trust anything else in the paper if they just make things up?

NO! No I say! This just proves that America can't do everything, it just proves how weak we are and how strong they are that we are working with them. Strong people don't need to work with anybody else, only weak people do. Just need to get that out of the way before the other 200 posts saying the same thing.

id and Crytek have abandoned the PC? Is that why they have released every game they have made on the PC? Let's not count the terrible cell phone game id made, I'm sure they want to forget it as well. :)
